These Customer Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GOATO mobile application and related services (the "Platform").
By creating an account, making a booking, or using GOATO in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
GOATO operates as a digital marketplace platform that connects customers with independent mobile car wash and detailing service providers ("Service Providers").
GOATO does not provide car wash services directly and is not a cleaning company.
To use GOATO, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Provide accurate and complete information when registering
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
GOATO may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.
Bookings are made through the GOATO app
Availability, pricing, and services are set by Service Providers
A booking request becomes confirmed once accepted by a Service Provider and payment is successful
Services are performed by independent Service Providers, not GOATO
GOATO does not guarantee service quality, timing, or outcomes
Any service‑related issues should be raised through the app or support channels
Prices are displayed in the app before confirmation
All payments are processed securely via Paystack
GOATO does not store card or banking details
Payment must be completed before or at the time of service

Cancellation and refund policies may vary by Service Provider
Late cancellations or no‑shows may result in partial or full charges
GOATO may assist with disputes but is not obligated to issue refunds
You agree to:
Provide accurate vehicle and location details
Ensure reasonable access to the vehicle at the scheduled time
Remove personal valuables from the vehicle
Treat Service Providers with respect
GOATO is not responsible for delays or service issues caused by incorrect information or lack of access.
Service Providers are responsible for the services they perform
GOATO is not liable for vehicle damage, loss, or dissatisfaction arising from services
Any damage claims must be reported promptly via the app
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GOATO disclaims liability for indirect or consequential losses.
Customers may leave honest ratings and reviews
Reviews must be truthful and respectful
GOATO may remove reviews that are abusive, false, or misleading
GOATO does not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation of the Platform and may suspend access for maintenance or updates.
GOATO may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for:
Breach of these Terms
Fraudulent or abusive behavior
Legal or regulatory requirements
All content, trademarks, and software on the Platform are owned by or licensed to GOATO. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part without written permission.
Your use of GOATO is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to South African courts.
GOATO may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
